Our Savior's Lutheran ChurchWelcome
Our
congregation is a member of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in
America (ELCA). The ELCA seeks to be faithful witnesses to the Biblical
promise that God brings salvation through His mercy and gift of grace.
People today are in great need of
salvation. We live lives full of stress, pain and confusion.
We search for joy and meaning in a world that seems chaotic and out of
control. Into our desperate situation, God declares hope for our
reality.
In the Bible, Ephesians 4:12 tells us
that God desires all people to work together in His kingdom for the
equipping of the saints, for the work of ministry, for building up the
body of Christ. This is our quest at Our Savior's as we seek to be a
people whose vision is Growing Together in
Christ: Reaching Out in Love.
As I see it, we express this vision
through three spiritual experiences: 1)Growing through worship;
2) Growing through intentional, relational ministry--like small groups
and youth and family ministry; and 3) Growing through faithful use of
our personal gifts and resources
